OLEKSANDR RUBETS

Junior Breakthrough & Historic Records (2016–2017): At just 20 years old, Rubets disrupted the senior division. In 2016, he broke the open IPF squat world record with 416 kg (98 kg class). In 2017, he transitioned to the 105 kg class, setting historic men's open world records with a 431 kg squat and a 1,051 kg total in Málaga.

World-Class Success: Later in 2017, he secured silver at the IPF World Open Powerlifting Championships, achieving a massive 1,070.5 kg total. A video compilation of this phenomenal performance highlights his runner-up world title.

Sustained Elite Status: Rubets has remained at the pinnacle of international powerlifting for years, highlighted by winning gold at the 2023 European Championships and consistently competing in high-stakes, prestigious events like Sheffield.
